Question about Electrical Supplies
I have a Valsi 7500W generator which is not putting out any voltage. Can you still get anyone to work on these or get parts and manuals. I have been unable to find anyone with parts on the internet.
If its a Generac could be the voltage regulator or control board. If you want to go inside then disconnect the avr (voltage regulator) from the field and put 12 volts to the field slip rings with a car battery. Watch Polarity.... Yu should get about 60-80 volts out of the 115 receptacle. Plug in a light bulb and see if it lights. If it does then the field and stator are probably ok and you need to look elseware. Make sure breakers and connections are ok from the stator and receptacle.

Good Luck with that...but if engine runs and there is no output voltage, that generally means that the stator needs to serviced or replaced (likely as pricey as a new genny).
