It keeps saying the internet is not ofund when it is and when i try logging into my email it says not trusted server certificate
I would try deleting the app first-sounds like you might have gotten a bad sector in it & see if that clears everything up & back to normal. If it does, maybe try a different text app. Anytime you get a not trusted server certificate-that is telling you whatever you downloaded it has something bad in it somewhere. I'd get rid of it.

Forget all that nonsence you read about puttimg the sd card in the computer. Its easy but it may erase some of your favs. But it work... Take out card, turn off tab. Put card back in, hold power and the up button. You should see it rebooting, yellow words comming across screen. Let it play out, presto... Good as new
SOURCE: PROBLEM WITH TABLET CRUZ READER R101
To update the firmware you can follow the directions here http://www.ehow.com/how_7890482_update-cruz-reader-firmware.html
I used a similar method when I had my Cruz Reader R101. This process is called "side-loading"
You will have to download a file to your computer (not your tablet), remove the SD media card from your cruz, then transfer the downloaded file from your computer to it, then replace the SD card to your cruz.
Also you can download the user manual here http://www.retrevo.com/support/Velocity-R101-Tablets-manual/id/23894dj696/t/2/ which shows how to remove the card, and this is a great reference to keep on your reader. For example, page 14 shows how to transfer files to and from your reader. Good luck!
SOURCE: my cruz tablet 103 won't keep app open, it just reverts to home page. Any suggestions?
You need to update your tablet, or update the programming on your tablet. Apparently all the android 2.2 tabs are considered "legacy" models and don't support the newest google and java script. Since this is what the net primarily uses, those of us with the Cruz are hosed.
