My PC (Dell) is connected to a Router (LinkSys WRT160N) via ethernet cable. My Laptop (Dell) is a wireless connection and works fine. When the Laptop is on, the internet connection on the PC works fine. However, when the Laptop is off, the internet connection will not work on the PC. The only way to get around this is to directly connect the modem to the PC.
Any ideas?

To setup a wireless connection on a computer, the wireless card in the computer needs to be configured with the wireless router's settings.

I show 2 dns servers. One ends in 7.10 and the other ends in 7.11.

will do what i can to help u out. good luck travel safe!
what are u using for your dns setting on your pc? you can check it by click start; run; type cmd; press enter
in the black screen type ipconfig /all then press enter
this will display the ip address of the dns setting. usually it should have the same ip address as the default gateway.
