Insert a compatible memory card. The Kodak CX7430 works with MMC and SD cards, 2GB or smaller.

SOURCE: Internal memory is full

Hi There Kyle,
At the moment I have my friend's Kodak camera M1033 with me, because it has some minor problems. So Your camera model is quite the same as this one.
So coming to your problem, go to the normal Photo mode and press the Menu button.
There if you search then you'll find an option 'Image Storage'. Did u find it yet? Good. Now according to your problem, it must have been at 'Internal Memory', so set it to 'Auto' and you're good to go!

Cheers,
DJ

First do not panic! It is possible to recover your pictures if you take care.
Connect the camera to your PC & the PC should recognise it as an external drive.

If you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a FREE utility that will recover your photos from the following link:

http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec

If you need something a little more "user friendly" then you will need to buy the software. If you search the web for photo recovery software you will find many.
One I have used successfully is RescuePro that used to be bundled with some Sandisk products. Now you can get it from the link below:

http://www.lc-tech.com/software/prwindetail.html.

You can try the demo to see what you can recover before buying.

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to the camera until you can recover your pictures to your PC safely!

Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!

Once it is set to internal, put the card in the camera and press review.
Copy the pictures from the internal memory to the card.

SOURCE: Our Kodak Z612 won't switch back to the memory card

Dont you worry On that.,

Here's the thing you need to Do.

-Turn On the Camera
-Press menu
-Press down arrow 10 times
-Now you should see the word IMAGE STORAGE then press Ok Button
-Now under Image storage it will provide 2 options if your press Ok., Highlight or choose the word Auto then Press Ok.

Now since your image storage is On auto it means that It will automatically Go into your Memory card everytime you insert you memory card in your Camera., GudlucK!

Need to format my 4GB sdhc memory card to my Kodak easyshare cx7430....any ideas

I've tried a 4GB memory card in my Kodak CX7430 camera and it doesn't work. I've been able to use any size up to 2GB so I'd suggest going to a 2GB card.

Sorry, can't be done. The CX7430 works with MMC and SD cards, which max out at 2GB. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

Memeory card full

Greetings ashley 1980,

This means that in order to take additional pictures, you need to use an external memory card. To clear up your internal memory, you would want to use the supplied usb cable to upload the pictures to your computer. Or you can delete these photos and this will also clear up memory space, but you would be able to retain the images.

Thank you!
