I just got a new LG Dare (had been using Motorola 815), and was told I'd have no problem syncing my HS850 with my new phone. I love my bluetooth and have never had a problem with using it with my old phone. The Dare searches and finds the HS850, but when i select the device, it doesn't give me an option to enter the code (which I've been told is always ''0000'', pls. correct if wrong). It just pulls up a screen that has the ''New Device Info''. I can't seem to edit any of that information. It lists ''Name'', ''Type'', ''Status'' (Not Paired), ''Security'', ''Address'' (00:13:17:0d:75:dc), etc. Any help would be very much appreciated! Also, is there a way to turn off the automatic locking this phone does? I understand that it helps so that the keys aren't mistakenly punched. But I'd still like to have the option. It's such a pain to have to unlock everytime, when it's just sitting in front of me all day. Thank you!!

Send the phone into LG, they will have there technician diagnose the phone. I have the exact same problem. I took my phone out of my pocket and there was a big crack on the LCD screen. My phone is going to LG Canada today, they (LG) told me it sounds like a manufactures defect.
Install the provided LG Dare software on your computer. Using your USB cord, connect the phone to the computer. Open windows Media Player. Media Player should see your phone. In the sync screen, drag music from your library to the sync column and then select sync. This will copy the selected music to your phone.
Photos are easiest with a micro SD card, otherwise, you need software like BitPim. Transfer photos to and from the micro SD card and the insert in your phone.
hey i had the same problem so i went to the nearest verizon tech support and they told me i had to get a new dare luckily for me it was under warrenty thats the best i can do sorry if it doesnt help
The only carrier in the US using the Dare is Verizon Wireless. Unfortunately, they use a hard-coded chip, not a removable SIM like other carriers. I am afraid that, without some serious hardware re-wiring, you will not be able to use the Dare on any other network.
go to download.com and get the data for the phone. its a tiny file that makes your computer recognize that the phone is plugged in. of course.. VISSTA has to be more complicated. :) thanks microsoft
if your phone does not pair with your jawbone then you might want check you phone's bluetooth visibility which can stop your phone from syncing even if your bluetooth is turned on. You can find it in bluetooth setting
