I have a Maytag Atlantis Washer. At first it stopped completly draining during spin. Then it stopped draining at all and we would have to run through the spin cycle again. Now it just sits and humms. HELP!
After looking online at maytag's site and others for parts and seeing the costs involved along with labor costs, and considering the not very helpful people on the phone who ask stupid questions and then accused me of missuse I'm better off buying a different brand of washer and putting this whole highly bothersome affair with maytag behind me. LG to the rescue! The only satisfaction I will get is watching this maytag get crushed and devoured by the local junk dealer.

That's just what mine does. Sometimes I rotate the washer tub about 1 full turn clockwise and it will then spin but only about 1/2 the time. It has stopped spinning at all today, even unplugging it for a bit does not help. The belts all look good...at least i paid less than $100 for the pair. More bother than it's worth. Buying LG this weekend
