Hello... I have a NEC 338.... Got it from ENGLAND.... Im n India, when I insert AIRTEL sim, The phone says ''Please insert correct USIM card''.... Pls help me solve this problem... I want to unlock it....

The Cell-phone is SIM-locked to the Orange provider in the UK. (You can only use their SIM-cards in your phone) This is very common and you have to contact Orange in order to get the unlock-code and instructions in how to unlock your phone. The other option is to have a proffesional unlocker unlock your phone, only problem here is that the warranty might be void hereafter.

Insert any other sim in ur mobile if that is working fine then u need to swap the sim Gizmo1

go to settings .. phone settings .. thn operators selection ... manual ... and u check the network ... and see if airtel is available in ur loacality .... if availble .. th ni twuld work ....
