Canon IR C3100N Scanner Setup

Its fair simple, if you are scanning to windows PC, Create a folder called scans in your C:\ drive. Share it and give all the permissions. Thereafter log on to your copier using the IP address in your internet explorer. Go to address, click address book one, click the second tab on your left saying register new address. thereafter enter you name, then change from FTP to SMB and then host name will be your computer name\ip address, followed by scans(\\computername\scans)just like that. followed by your username and password.
