Yes, Asko dishwashers can leave a small amount of water in the sump after a cycle completes. At the beginning of most cycles the sump is pumped and new water added.

Asko d3250 drain pump wont stop running

Most likely is activated overflow system.
This means water leaks under the dishwasher and is activated drain pump to prevent flooding. The simplest is to lean on either side the dishwasher so if there is water on the floor, that's it. Now you need to identify and repair the leaks. You can not be excluded that a defective triac by driving the drain pump placed on circuit board. It very rarely happens and some brands signals a failure by display or LED diodes .

Water drained out of tube, but dishwasher stops and indicators tell me "drain is plugged."

The drain hose on a dishwasher must be long enough to go up above the water level of the dishwasher and then back down to connect to the sink drain. This is to keep gravity from draining the tank. However, you probably replaced the drain hose the same way it was originally.
Try checking the float and float switch for smooth operation. Maybe the float has debris holding it up from dropping to the true water level.

Asko dishwasher did not finish complete washing cycle and now has a very low humming sound. It will not start washing cycle. I have turned it on and off but after I turn it back on humming sound...

Some wash water may have gotten into the bottom pan area below the wash tub. If water has overflowed from the tub into the bottom pan, the drain pump will activate and remain active until water has been removed from the bottom pan. To check for this, the lower front panels will need to be removed. With power turned off at the breaker, a wet-vac can be used to remove water from the bottom pan. If there was water there, check the door seals, door closure and make sure the drain hose has a high-drain loop. If the drain is shared with the kitchen sink, it may simply have backed up into the dishwasher through the drain hose when a full sink was emptied. The best drain system is for the dishwasher to have its own separate drain.

F2 error message after dishwasher backed up when draining. Asko brand.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2 in your Asko Dishwasher means high water level. This error occurs due to plugged/bad water pump and/or a bad inlet valve. If the water pump and/or water inlet valve are bad it should be replaced to resolve this issue. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Asko d1706- drain pump keeps running at the end of the cycle, even in the Off position. Water sometimes remains in the bottom of unit. Any clue

There was a small leak when I re-installed the pump causing water to accumaulate in the base. By reading on your site, I realized that this is normal and expected, for the event that a leak occurs, the pump stays on to purge all possible water.

Thank you

Asko 1475 dishwasher - won't wash. Circulation pump?

Check your drain. It is dual purpose. It not only drains but, it also recirculates the water doring the cycles.

Brand new dishwasher will not drain at end of cycle.

Check your manual. Some dishwashers actually do leave water in them after the final drain cycle. It has to do with the type of seals they use. Some will leak the very first time they are used but not after that. The seals in these types must remain wet. If this isn''t the issue, wait about 5 minutes fir the timer to finish. Sometimes there is quite a lag at the last cycle. If all else fails, call the customer service number in the manual.
