How do I remove Facebook events from my Samsung S Planner calendar?

in windows 10 on the charms bar, touch the search option and type in what your looking for and it should come up. you can also go to the my pc which should be the c drive and see if there is a folder of the program and see if you can delete it also

Sometimes your phone will be setting events to your phone individual calendar and not onto your Google calendar. Double check your settings on your phone's calendar to ensure you're events are being added to the correct place.

There is also be an option (on my S3 at least) when setting events to pick which calendar it sets to.

I found that S Planner uses several calendars. You can have one in the samsungaccount. Open Splanner app. In menu press MENU button (left bottom), select calendars. Now you have a whole list. facebook, gmail, samsung. I started initially using (and adding things) to my samsung calendar. But I soon found that the samsung was difficult to use. So I changed to using the gamil calendar and reentered birthdays etc. Now with the gmail calendar it is synced at all times and you can access and edit your calendar in PC when logging in to gmail, you select calendar. In to right corner you find a small grey with nine little blocks. This is apps. In here you go to calendar. Hope it helps. Stop using the Samsung account calendar! I guess if you want to access this on pc you must log into your samsung account on pc. I didnt because I switched to gmail calender. Best regards

I do not believe you will get this calendar to work or sync with the Samsung Galaxy Fame. Can you even open the newly installed Calendar app? The reason you cannot find a My Calendar folder is it does not exist unless you created it. The S planner and Google Now were to function as appointment schedulers etc. Personally S Planner is one app I would not uninstall without making sure you did not have anything sharing any of the information in the Planner. It has been known to cause functionality issues with other apps.There are a plethora of apps that will not work with the Fame due to its lack of extra bells and whistles found on other models of the Galaxy affecting functionality. It does have many cool (to me) gadgets to mess with, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer (do not expect to use these without their respective apps.)

Actually, PiyushVig's answer is completely incorrect. The Calendar icon on both the front screen and the main screen are not always there. They only show up for a reason, and that is because there is a calendar event scheduled for that day. (Likewise there is no setting in the phone to show or not show the calendar icon. If you have an event scheduled for that day, the calendar icon will show and there is no changing that feature.)

Today I had the same problem as the person who asked this question. There are no events scheduled for today yet the phone displays the calendar icon on both the main screen and the front screen of my Samsun Convoy SCH-U640 cell phone.

So I just got off the phone with Samsung support to see if I could resolve this issue. They told me that there is no reason for the calendar icon to show up when there are no events scheduled for that day. They had me do a soft boot (shut off phone and remove battery for 20 seconds then replace battery and turn phone back on) and that did not work. I also tried actually programming an event for today and then erased it but that did not make the bogus calendar even alert icon go away.

So Samsung Support's conclusion to this issue is exactly what I suspected before I even called them; it's simply a software glitch (which is annoying for those Convoy users that really use and rely on the calendar function).

Maybe to try this advice.

Open your menu on the left side of the screen. Then simply drag the (no events box) over to the left side onto the calendar, it will then go off the screen and back into the calendar where it belongs.

you should have a database where your event plans are stored on your computer.
Look in Users/yourname/appdata/local/ and look for your event program..move to Local Low and Roaming and look for your sofwtare.
if you find it, backup what you have in another folder.
Then reinstall your event planner and import your database from your folder.
