It sounds like a bad picture tube or high voltage problem. This is a dangerous circuit to work with so have a shop check it out for you. Thanks for using fixya.

To turn off the hotel mode on an Onida Ultra Slim TV, you need to follow these steps:
  1. Turn on the TV and press the "Menu" button on the remote control.
  2. Use the navigation buttons to select the "Setup" option and press the "OK" button.

  4. Select the "Hotel Mode" option and change the setting to "Off".
