Pls advise on my remote to the T342 systme. I have changed batteries twice, but I still can't get it to
work. It won't even turn the powere off or on.

Did you program the remote? or was it standard? if you did all of this it sounds like a new remote is in order, but I'd get the codes from the maker and instructions on reprogramming it,if that fails you need a new one

Sounds like you have an add-on remote. Try changing the frequency in the receiver & transmitter. If that doesn't work you probably need a new receiver.
The altinator is missing ground, any time you remove the battery and the engine dies, that only means that the altinator is not charging, there has to be a fuse for charging systme.
Have you checked your battery on the mouse? I would pressume that it uses battery since its wireless. Does it have a on/off switch? Because for it to work you need to turn it on. Can you post the exact model and specs of your wireless mouse? For us to better understand what were dealing with. Reply back. Good Day.
then your alternator doesn't work, that's why it doesn't charge the battery.
If you wan't to know if this is the reason you can try this:
Start your engine, connect a multimeter on the propper battery terminals to test voltage level, with your car still on it must have around 13.5 to 14 volts. Turn on your lights and air conditioning it should not descend more than 13 volts. If it's less than 13 volts then your alternator doesn't work and it has to be changed.
Some people does this other test but is not recommendable:
Start your car remove ground terminal if the car remains on, then the alternator is ok (If you have a tester I would recommend the first method)
You can use an all in one remote to work most of the features. I have one of the newer models. (sorry don't know the model #) but I had to contact the all in one customer service and they helped me with a procedure to load the code to make the remote work with the AMW player.
