Getting just snow and no signal in upper left power to cable ok

Try to reset it to the factory settings and Them remove the power cable for atleast 5 minutes but Will be better to power OFF for 12 hours

Check its ariel connection for firmness. If it is OK, check and replace its tuner.

sounds like you are getting water into the connections and possibly have a bad earth connection. Suggest you check all light connections for water ingression.

LNB has blown OR faulty cable. Snow could have got in and shorted cable. Try cutting off and replacing F connector. If cable ok then must be LNB - cheap part and often sky would replace free.

Just wondering if thesmiths860 found a solution to their issue w/ their Sony TV. My tv is doing the same thing i.e. snow, won't change channels and says "NO SIGNAL".
Does anyone have a solution? I don't have the original remote so I can't do a factory reset.

Well the LG tv is not getting the cable signal.Unplug the cable box about an hour.Replug the box let the software to upgrade the cable box.The LG tv should get the signal back as normal.Not,than the LG tv Tuner board have problems it dead.Tries Websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner board for the replacement.

TRY CHANGING YOUR INPUT SOURCE ON THE MENU FROM AIR OR ANTENNA TO CABLE.

Try to replace the Logic Scan board on the upper left side of your tv. The part no. is printed on the board and you can order it from Panasonic's Website. Also check the Service Manual for the part description and part no.

snow basically is a symptom of weak signal.

as you say it becomes ok after 5 minutes or so there no question of any components gone wrong except loose or print intermittent

please check.

1  input weak like cable or antenna or loose wire from the source..

2  in tv antennae socket loose.

3  near tuner any thing loose or track loose.

4  cable wire might be old.

The reason you're getting a blue screen is that you're not getting a signal. Newer TV's have this "blanking" feature to "kill" the snow in the absence of a signal. Check the connector at the end of the cable where it screws onto the set. Stargazer
