A Samsung Washing Machine displays a tE error code when a Thermistor Error has been detected by the internal electronic diagnostics. You can find more info here

A tE error code on the display of the washer indicates a heating error, usually caused by a faulty thermistor.

1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet for 10 seconds.
2. Plug the washer back in and press the POWER button and then the SPIN SPEED button until No Spin is selected. Press the START/PAUSE button.
3. Once the washer has drained, restart the wash cycle.
4. If the tE error code appears again, close the water taps and unplug the washer. The washer will require repair service.

The TE error or fault code is to indicate a defective water temperature sensing thermistor. The thermistor cannot be repaired and will have to be replaced.

Check the condition of the tube as any small crack or hole will render the pressure switch useless.
If in doubt replace the tube.

LE error also referred to sensor assembly- HALL switch and/or stator assembly. Replace the assembly by removing the back cover, removing the rotor with one bolt. You have to hold the rotor from turning while loosening the bolt, slide the rotor off of the spline shaft, take off 6 or was it 8, bolts holding the stator, unplug the two wire plugs, and, now, out of machine, unclip the hall sensor and replace.
Reinstall opposite way.

te error code is (touchpad error). you have to replace the touchpad assy. the board and overlay.

Hi,
Ive looked through a service manual for your washing machine and that give the exact same fault and solution you mentioned (tE = Heater Error - The THERMISTOR is out of order)
