Ticking sound when unplugged? It sounds like a mechanical timer. Check the timer / control setting is actually on a cooking cycle. The unit may be set on delayed start? If there is no power to the unit, there may be a fuse inside it. You may have to take the back / side off to see.
The model number will either be inside the door of the oven on the face usually and/or is located at the rear/back of the item. There should me a model and serial number listed on the plate. Once this information is found it will be alot esier to help you with your current problem.
