My skype sound keeps fading in and out.

This did not work for me. After unticking the automatic volume adjustment for the mike, the test call still faded out. I do a count during the test, usually 1- 14 or so. The sound starts to fade after "2" and becomes pretty much inaudible by "5." Help! I need this for work. This did not work for me. This did not work for me. Unticking the automated volume control for the mike in Tools >> options did not help. During the test call, I count from 1 to 14. The sound starts strong but starts to fade after "2," and is pretty much inaudible after "5." In real calls, other folks on the call can hear only the first couple of words I say, then it's dead air.
