And recently started a loud, rhythmic clicking , sometimes during wash, but always during spin, getting louder and faster until it sometimes reaches a point that it stops, is sometinh stuck in there, or is it broken.
May be something stuck in the drum or a segment raised on the motor. to test either remove the belt and spin the drum if no noise then the motor is faulty. if a noise then there may be a bra wire between the drum/tub.
On my atlantis maytag, the lid has a trigger in the middle that starts the machine going. The lid has to be screwed ontightly on both sides to aligne it correctly. For the past year, I had to put a dime in the trigger spot on the lid for it to reach to actual turn on switch. now it doesn't work any longer.....I have a washer full of water and no power....any suggestions

sounds coming from washer while in spin just now filled with water and will not operate at all
