Check the tutorial at Techniques to Tackle Android Tablet from Boot Stuck . One or two of these methods will wipe your data and your applications. Losing applications isn't so bad -- you can just reinstall them. But I hope you have backed up your data!
You need to re-install the firmware, not the original one, but a clean version that is available here: http://www.craigelectronics.com/firmware_update/android4.0/cmp741e_firmware4.0_cleaner.rar
Will reboot several times, and fail the first run, but it will work on restart. It has worked for me and at least 2 other people that I know of.
