Image defects on LJ printers are usually the toner cart. or the fuser:

This is the test to determine toner or fuser issue.
Print a test page
When you hear the paper feed into the machine open the top to stop the machine
Remove the toner cart.
You should be able to see the page with printing on it. (This is before the page hits the fuser)
If you can see the image Defect on the page the problem is most likely the cartridge but NOT the fuser.
If the page is clean the problem is most likely the fuser.
Hope this helps

GET BLINKING GREEN LIGHT TO STOP AND PAPER TO FEED?

The green light should be blinking it is an indicator of power to the terminal.
if you have a printing problem let's first check how you are loading the paper. if you scratch the paper with your fingernail you should get a faint black line. the side of the paper that has the line should be placed in the palm of your hand. (facing down) if you take your hand to the opening of the terminal. and let the paper roll off your fingers into the terminal the side with the line should be down and you should be able to grab the beginning of the paper and pull about 2 inches past the opening of the paper load tray. then close the lid. making sure the roller on the lid is lightly touching the paper. do not feed the paper through anything it sits in paper load tray. there should be 1 roller- black in color that is the length of the paper and it should have a sprog (spindle) type wheel that has grooves that will push or pull another sprog to move the paper.

if you don't have one sprog and roller on the door you need to get a replacement door.
if you do have those close the door and press the 2nd purple key to your right. this is a reprint button, see if something prints.
if it is still not printing. make sure the paper is the correct size.

My Ricoh Aficio CL2000N is printing several faint lines

Couple possibilities:
Fuser hot belt has wear lines transfering to the page
Black pcu needs to be replaced
Transfer unit is not being cleaned properly and needs to be replaced.
Remove each of these assy and inspect them for wear or lines that corespond to the lines on your prints.

When printing the sheet of paper has 3 dots on the

Yes this could be the drum.

You could remove the drum and carefully look for the pattern of dots etc that you are getting on the page but on the drum surface.

I would suggest replacing the drum 1st and retrying.

If the black lines are just down one edge then the fuser could be to blame for the black marks but without being able to see the page i cant tell. The drum is certainly my 1st suspect and is easy for you to try.

Esp3 printer, has new cartriges, printing very fient

Have you tried the maintenance tool - if you open the kodak printer status monitor in your taskbar (next to the clock); at the top right hand side you will see an icon showing crossed hammer and spanner, click on this and run the tools from top down (dont need to do the test page).
If that doesnt work you could try this:-
my new esp3 printer (replaced due to not printing black) came with a suppliment document for action if no black or faint print appears!!:
verify paper is loaded into paper tray then press and hold the Cancel and Copy/Resume buttons simultaneously until the On/Off light flashes -apparently this fixes the no black/faint issue.
hope this helps

Black ink is faint

First I would suggest performing any head alignment functions with your printer's menu to be sure you have the stepper motor feed adjusted properly. Use the paper you are currently printing on for this procedure so that the thickness of that paper is factored in.
If you stil see the banding after doing this, you can use the Advanced Media Control button under Printer Settings in ColorBurst to fine-tune the paper feed adjustment. Print out the "Media Advance.tif" target (located in the ColorBurst/images & Targets folder) to use as a guide. For white bands, you'll need to enter a negative number (to shorten the paper feed).
