My Motorola V505 says it is unable to charge. What can I do? I've tried the charger inside and the one in my car and it says the same thing. I've removed the battery and wiped off the gold contact points also. I've also used the "canned air" to blow out the connections. Hope someone can help!

Sometimes "intelligent" chargers will not start charging if a battery is too flat, but usually there will be at least a light showing that there's power to the charger.
You could try jumping a good battery across the one you want to charge to get things going (+ve to +ve, -ve to -ve).
If it's broken it's usually worth a look if you can get it apart. Look for a blown fuse, bad solder joint, wire broken, something burnt out etc. You might be able to fix it.
Don't plug it in while it's apart unless you are certain that nothing will short out and that you will not touch any live wires!
try charging on a wall charger? im assuming you have a usb wall connector to match your computer charger like i do, also try it on different options besides mass storage.
Check the contacts between phone and battery,
if necessary align or clean. Are
you using original Motorola charger? This solved my problem; I was trying to
charge it with one of those "universal" chargers. Hope this helps!
COULD BE THE PHONE BUT MOST LIKELY ITS THE CHARGER, IF ITS AFTERMARKET GET RID OF IT AND BUY OEM, TRY AND TEST IT OUT WOULD A FREINDS MOTOROLA CHARGER SINCE THEY'RE MOSTLY THE SAME CHARGERS AND SEE IF YOU STILL GET THE MESSAGE.
you may need to have the usb charger port replaced....if that does not work try reflash the original firmware on the phone....for this to be done it is best that you take the phone to a mobile center close to you.
