My razr phone won't let me do anything! it lasts like 30 seconds then freezes up. it wont let me go to my contacts or messaging. i can call but it cuts off after a few seconds
I think you need to change the main keypad flex cable on your phone. There is a slim chance that it might be the software. But I have seen it many many times that its the keypad flex.

open the back of the phone and look right above the battery there should be a little circle if it is red...means phone has water damage. the same thing happend to my phone there is little if anything that can be done to fix the problem
Sounds like your phone is on its last legs - two RAZRs have died on me and they've started out this way - with smaller malfunctions and freeze-ups that eventually end in the phone being flat out dead. If you get it functional again, move all your contacts to the SIM card as a precaution. If you have warranty coverage, take the phone in and get a new one now so you won't have to worry.
Sounds like it isn't charging properly,
Try cleaning your battery contacts with rubbing alchol and a q-tip, be sure to ge the contacts on the battry & phone, also get your charging port.
Good Luck
I had this problem too. Unfortuneately it happens often with that phone as i have been told. Mine got fixed about 10 months ago because it was under warranty and now it has happened again out of warranty and i have to pay for it to get fixed. Why should i when its going to keep happening every few months? It has nothing to do with the battery or the charger. The only way that it can be fixed is to take it to the manufacturer.
Its common with motos razors to get freeze ups. I even heard about it happening when sending sms or working on the calendar.
If you think it might be the humidity, you could try putting it in an airing cupboard for a few days, with bat disconnected.
If nothing works, try getting it fixed on warranty if valid, just don't mention the humidity part ;]
good luck
