1. Before upgrading to windows 7, you must check the specification of your acer aspire 5315.

2. Windows 7 is better than windows vista but if you are really wanted those acer programs to work. You have to downgrade your operating system from your previous operating system.

If you have the cd key or serial key of your Vista Home Premium 64 bit then jus go to the microsoft website and download from there.

It's doing you a favor, I loaded that Easycap that I bought from ebay and it crashed my system (Win7)

visit the above site, download the free driver utilty and it will scan for hardware, find the latest drivers and let you choose what to install( I used it to "downgrade" from vista to xp on my Toshiba Equium P300D, it was excellent).

I have Windows Vista; I also had a similar problem; found out that I could only use the usb port on my computer exclusively for sewing as the driver software seems to conflict;
Also, having said that, go to Pfaff.com & download the free driver upgrade and see if that will get you started good luck deb

Just select your Operating System and click on the download that you want.

It seems the monitor was faulty .The PC that this monitor was on had crashed and some how it had also effected the monitor . I had a family member try the monitor on their computer and it had the same results . Their computer was running WindowsXP .
