Volume turns down by itself

Do you mean it comes on and off by itself? If that's what you mean, then you need to replace all the tact switches(the buttons) on the set. This is a very common problem with many rca's. I've had to change them in several rca's to fix this problem. You need to change them all(power, volume + -, channel + -, menu.

Some people have luck by unsoldering them and letting them soak in rubbing alcohol for a while which will clean them. If you go this route, just make sure that you let them dry out before reinstalling. Also, while they are in the alcohol, press each one of the buttons several times. This will also help to clean them better. As long as they all look the same, it will not matter which ones are put back where.

sorry to say but the power supply is the problem you would be better off buying a new tv

Check the volume up button on the TV or on the remote control is not stuck in & jammed. This will cause the sound to go fully to maximum by itself.

Replace all the tac switches.

It sounds like something in the set has failed. These newer TV's have shut down circuits that won't let the set come on if there is a short or excessive voltage somewhere in the set. Most failures in TV's occur at the moment the set is turned on.

The buttons on control panel are there for convince not for everyday use. Use remote, your control panel is bad.

yes it is a electronic problem. as you get sound but it comes down again. it is mainly due to any loose contact in sound section or any capacitor is faulty.
