White screen when playing pc games

This had become a frequent issue. When playing downloaded games, the screen goes white after playing for some time, the sound is still audible. Many times the game can be re-played if i close the game and start again. What do you suggest? **note: not comp savy.

thanx

Sounds like 1- you have a virus or 2- your computer's graphics card is not sufficient for the game you are trying to play. Double check all the requirements, if you meet them you have a virus. Hope i've shed some light on the problem :)

When I turn my Nintendo DS Lite on, the touch screen works fine but the top screen just goes plain white. I've tried turning it on and off but that didn't work. The screen is just white and that...

sounds like It is broken.
unless you get the startup screen beefore it goes out white i'd say something was damaged in the screen or the wiring connecting the screen to the unit.

If you see any lines on it, It was most likely over extended open and the wires inside have become frayed or damaged. If you try fully opening the top screen and push inward you may have temporary relief of this issue. could try puling out also but either way this would just be to test if thats the issue. dont pull or puch to hard as you could damage the unit further.

if it is a pure white screen the screen may have cracked or had something spilled on it which would damage the screen beyond use.

Either way, the system is damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired. Price wise it is more advisable to just buy a new unit rather then purchase parts and repair it.

I was using Comodo, i was even running it in game mode and had the settings turned down and it still blocked it. Hope this helps :P

Screen goes black while playing Demigod/Titan Quest

If the pc plays on some of the games without going blank, I will suggest two things for to do. Adjust the screen resolution perhaps a little higher than what you have now. Finally, upgrade your RAM capacity. However, reverting to your former card can do the magic as I can sense that the new card may be running higher than what PCI socket on your mainboard can carry. It may be incompatible and only managing for now. Good luck

Computer games hestitate frequently.

This is due to using outdated hardware. Its not necessarily any one thing. Sure, more RAM and a new video card (even an upgraded processor if possible with your main board) will help. But if your computer is 5 years old, you need a new one for gaming purposes.

I've seen your problem countless times, and if you don't have an upgradeable computer, or its a name brand pc, you will need a newer one.

The reason it seems to get worse, is that #1, your hardware just gets older as time goes on, and #2, games become more sophisticated, resource intensive, and have higher system requirements.

Your computer can no doubt handle a lot of things without issue, but games, anything video intensive, or that require a high % of RAM, processor usage, or video usage are going to give you problems.

Display Becoming White

First, to verify if it is your display adapter, connect an external monitor to your laptop and see if it displays fine. If it is fine on the monitor, then we know that it is from your laptop screen(in this case, it is either you first check from a technician if it is the colour that has to be refilled or if you need to purchase a new screen). If not then it is from your display adapter(could be from corrupt display drivers). In this case, you would have to re-install new drivers for your display adapter(you can download it from your system manufacturer's website if you don't already have it).
Thanks
