Hoover six express wdm130 1300 washer dryer

My washer dryer will not dry clothes, i am assuming the water is hot to wash the clothes as it reaches the end of the cycle fine (am told if water was not heating it would not rinse or finish cycle)am unsure of whether there is a reset button inside machine or how to clean out a filter, any help would be much appreciated

Hi the inlet tube that takes the water and the soap poweder to the washing machine drum is blocked, and causes the water and powder to overflow and leak from the powder draw? any advise? or any suggestions where I can find a service manual for my hoover six express 1300 (WDM 130) ?

on a 6 year old WDM130 - some rather bizarre things happen. It will go through the full wash cycle with no problems- sometimes. At other times it reaches the end of the cycle but hasn't rinsed properly or spun, so washing v.wet and not clean. But I can get by this by...

pushing the on-off button on the front on and off about 8 times halfway through the wash cycle. This seems to get the cycle back on track again and it will complete. Also, if it dosesnt spin, I can re-set the proagramme dial to the spin setting, and start the machine with the door OPEN - and it starts! But it won't do this at the start of the programme.

What have I done? - looked at it, cleaned out all the pipes, hoses to make sure not blocked. And looked at a new machine. Problem is I'm tight, and also this machine was under an extended warranty and had a new door, drum, motor, programmer, timer, relay, tray, etc. over the course of the 5 year period. And its performance (when it does a full cycle) is excellent - still. Is there any way of unpicking what is wrong with it, or is it a service engineer call out? Also, I'm intrigued. How can switching it on and off lots of times make a difference, but it does?

Candy heat pump tumble dryer not collecting water and taking forever to dry!

Condenser dryers are simple in operation. They use a heater element to force hot air to heat the clothes and turn the water to steam. That steam is turned back into water by drawing cold air into the machine and over the heat exchanger unit and into the drum. The problems with them is that they are slow to dry.

Your best bet is to call for service, and the problem is likely the sensor probe or one of the thermal cut out.

Dryer gets hot but doesn't dry well

Restricted air flow...either vent or wheel that moves the air. Try taking hose off of where it goes outside and just let it run like that and see if clothes dry faster. If so you need vent cleaned.

Washer-dryer # wm3677HW will not dry, heats up, run, on and on

You're a moron. This unit washes and dries. That's the whole point of it. Perhaps you should do some research before answering the question. the most likely cause is the water lever sensor.

Washer dryer is no longer drying

two things to check take rear half of cabinet off and check the dryer duct (lhs from front) is not blocked. this is very common check water is being taken in during dry - the water is used to condense steam from the drying clothes. easiest way to check this is to see that some water is being drained during the drying cycle. i assume that drain is operating ok
