Chalky wash My wash is left with undissolved detergent when finished. This just started recently and you have to cycle the clothes a couple of times to get rid of the residue.

This is not neccesarly a machine problem. It may be undissolved detergent if you are using powdered detergent or maybe it's just too much detergent.It can also be an overloaded machine. To get rid of the residue, just wash them again after making sure the above issues are resolved.

I understand when you wash your dark clothes in your Frigidaire washer, model# FWX833AS1, there is lint left on them after the wash. There are a couple of possibilities that can cause lint.

First, would be incorrect sorting, or possibly tissues left in a pocket. It could be overloading your washer or not using enough detergent. Try reducing your load size. Rewash the clothes using the correct water temperature, water level, and amount of detergent.

Secondly, could be that it is undissolved detergent leaving residue on your clothes. Try adding a nonprecipitating water conditioner to the wash water.

Thirdly, it could be static cling attracting the lint. Try adding fabric softener to the final rinse, if you aren't already.

Lastly, the load could have washed too long.

Not sure if this is going to relax you but our Beko is exactly the same.
It went through months of only getting to about 60, then solved itself.The ONLY time it does is when it is plumbed in from the hot AND cold feeds. You CAN feed the source from hot supply but it tends to be too hot!!! Things I have tried;
Bottle of washing machine degreaser run through a full cycle. Put in via the detergent drawers.
Last ditch attempt but VERY risky to clothes unless you follow advice... Cilit Bang! The strongest Cilit cleaner via detergent drawers AND some in the tub with a ball. Run this on the 60 cycle, then do a second cycle and a third. Then put it on 90 and run it empty couple of times. Obviously think about clothes in immediate future! Once cleaned through I ran an empty washer with normal detergent in AND fairy liquid. Gets very bubbly so onoly a tiny amount. You can also take the drawers out an look down the inside.... be full of mouldy powder/liquid. At very least it stops any smells from your washed clothes when they've been left in the drum after washing!

Other than that DO NOT spend on engineer to come out. Waste of time / money.

Several things can be done to improve the clean appearance of your dishes.
1. Start a wash cycle with no dishes and no soap. Once the wash cycle has stated and water is circulating,open the door and pour in one quart of white vinegar and resume the wash cycle.
2. Use a detergent named FINISH.
3. Use only the recommended amount of detergent.
4. Periodically use a product named LemiShine.
Taking these steps will improve the quality and appearance of the dishes.
On a final note: too hot water temperature can cause etching in glasses and only a lower water temp will prevent new glasses from etching.

Learn what the different items you need to wash your laundry.
Liquid Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softeners
When using liquid laundry detergent, you do not want to poor it directly on your laundry. The dyes in the liquid laundry soap could stain your clothing. You will want to start your washing machine and add the liquid laundry soap while the water is filling the washing machine.
You then can add your laundry once you have about and eighth of the washing machine tub filled. This will ensure your laundry doesn't become stained by the detergent. You should only add the amount that is poured into the cup to the fill line. When you add more, you could find yourself wading through mounds of bubbles overflowing from your washing machine.
The same reasoning applies to liquid fabric softeners. However, liquid fabric softeners are added to the washing cycle after the initial washing cycle is finished. You will want to add the fabric softener once the washing machine has filled with water and started to agitate. This keeps the fabric softener from touching the laundry and will work it into your clothing better.
Powdered Laundry Detergent
You will want to add one cup of loose laundry detergent to your washing machine in the same manner you would do the liquid laundry detergent. By doing this, the powdered laundry detergent will dissolve easier.
Bleach
When adding bleach to your laundry, there is a small triangular cup in the corner of your washing machine. By adding one cup of bleach into that dispenser, the bleach will be added to the laundry at a precise time during the wash cycle.
Setting Your Washing Machine
Most washing machines have three or four cycles. For instance, the Maytag Washer I have has four cycles, regular, permanent press, delicate, and soak.
Regular Washing Cycle
The regular cycle is used for the following types of clothes and other apparel:
• Jeans
• Towels
• Blankets
• Sheets
• Quilts
• Bedspreads
The soil types for this cycle are heavy, normal, and light. This means clothes or other articles that are lightly too heavily soiled should be washed in this cycle. This is due to the washing cycles can be set from a minimum of eight to fourteen minutes maximum. You can use all three of the water temperatures in this cycle.
1Permanent Press Washing Cycle
The permanent press washing cycle is used on the clothes that may or may not need to be ironed.
Such as:
• Blouses
• Shirts
• T-shirts
• Under garments. This would be your unmentionables and socks.
• Jackets
• Sheets
• Baby Clothing
The soil types for this wash cycle are normal and light. The washing times for the permanent press cycle are six minutes to ten minutes. You can use all three washing temperature modes for this cycle as well.
Delicate Washing Cycle
The delicate washing cycle is normally used for sweaters, cotton, silks, and other fabrics that need to be washed with care.
The soil types for the delicate cycle are normal and light. The washing times for the delicate cycle are four and six minutes. It is best to wash your delicate clothes in warm or cold water. Always wash clothing that is more than forty percent cotton in cold water to prevent shrinking.
Soak Washing Cycle
The soak cycle would be used for heavily soiled clothing, such as, football and baseball uniforms. This will help rid the uniforms of caked on mud and grass stains.
You can also use this cycle if you wish to only bleach your white's once a week or once a month with bleach.
Washing Your Laundry
Choose the cycle you need for your laundry. Add the laundry detergent, fabric softener, and bleach (remember regular liquid bleach is for white clothes only.) Start the washing machine and let fill to dissolve the dry detergent or to mix in the liquid detergent.
Now add your clothes to the washing machine. Clothes the lid so the washing machine will continue to wash your clothes.
If you are using a Laundromat, put your clothes in the washing area and shut the lid or door. Add your detergent and other cleaning items in the correct compartments. Put in the correct amount of change so the washer will start.

Are you using TOO much powder? And is the machine set to the correct rinse tempature? You mention white stuff, does it look like undissolved washing powder? Or fabric softner? Possibly try liquid detergent and see if the problem continues. And follow the recommended amounts of detergent for each wash load, and the tempature settings. And of course the water levels. We run a small hotel and have been having this same problem with our LG Direct Drive WM2301HW... but the stains aren't grease at all... they're from sledge buildup in the washer. I found this out when I cleaned the lint trap behind the small door at the bottom left, on front of the machine. I ran my finger around the interior and found it lined with black, stinky muck. Due to the low position of the filter, this area never fully drains, so the muck collects and the bacteria grows. Of course, this means the pipes or hoses to the filter are probably also lined with this muck.... Poor design!!! Try running the washer empty (no clothes) with a couple cups of honest to goodness chlorine bleach. Then run it again to make sure all the stuff that came loose gets pumped out.

You should start using Electrol liguid dishwasher deterget, which comes in a container that dissolves when ittouches water. i've been using it for about a year, and it doesn't leave anything and my dishes look better than ever!
