I'm really guessing here - -but while you're in the parental controls screen I believe you can use 0-0-0-0 as a backdoor key. It's different for every manufacturer, Philips uses 0-7-1-1 example. But the users's manual for that TV says that the "default" is 0-0-0-0.. Don't really understand their use of that terminology so it's merely a guess... try master pass 3308 Childlock The CHlLDLOCK function prevents chiIdren from watching TV. HoId down the F button and then press the MUTE button until the symboI ? ? appears on the screen, and the TV enters the CHlLDLOCK mode. Except for the symboI? ?, the screen becomes blue back and mutes when you press the buton to turn the TV off, then turn the TV on after setting the CHILDLOCK function. Press and hold both VOL- on the TV and 0 on the
remote control simulaneously for a few seconds
until the LOCK menu appears on the screen and
then the password should be cleared.

Try to press power up button, channel up and volume minus at the same time. This should resolve your problem.

for the phillips and magnavox tv sets the code is 0711, then open the menu setting restet the code to something easy to remember , or what i would do is completly disable the child lock by going to that option in parental settings.try it hope it works!
