Dough, these models have had issues with the wiring harness that connects to the motor. UNPLUG THE MACHINE!! Pull the unit from the wall and remove the rear panel, 4 screws back there. On the rear of the tub about the 5 o'clock position, you'll see the motor. See the wires that connect to it? Check to make sure they are properly seated in the connector and that the connector is properly, firmly seated to the motor. Then replace the panel, push it back to the wall and plug it in. Now, for the diagnostics mode and "quick spin test". Press "chime" and "extra rinse" buttons at the same time for 3 seconds or until unit beeps. This will put it in Service Mode. Now press both the "delay start" and "rinse and spin" keys at the same time. The unit should initiate a spin test which will ramp up to maximum speed and hold that speed for 2 minutes, then ramp back down. Exit Service Mode the same way you entered it, above. After doing these tests and checks, post back and let us know what happened.
Have you checked the belt to make sure its not worn and loose? that would be the first thing I would check
