Freezer cold fridge is not

Gss22 model fridge. freezer stays nice and cold and works fine, but the firdge is not staying cool. last year this did the same thing and we were told to unplug and plug it back in there was nothing more wrong with it. that's not working this time. help!!

I have the same problem, but the freezer temp has dropped to the temp the refrig, this all happened overthe course of a weekend. i've cleaned the coils (removed dust/dirt). is the the notorious mother board issue model

Did you by chance recieve a recall from the manufacturer .? we got one about two years ago we had the same problem, they fixed it because there was danger of fire, i would contact them

Refrigerator will not stay cold enough to avoid spoilage. Hovers around 50 degrees. Freezer is working ok. Just replaced the compressor last year and tried vaccuming the coils.

Fridge doesnt stay cold. Freezer compartment is working fine. Fridge keeps losing its ability to stay cold. If we turn off at wall for 24 hours and then turn back on, it is fine for approx another week....

you may be low on freon..thats one thing about fridges if you are low one side will still stay cold while the other side gets warm

Fridge problem

I don't know about the hot points for sure, but all the maytags (I used to work for maytag) have a damper valve in the air tunnel that feeds cold air to the refrigerator. If the damper went bad, it would block cold air flow into the refrigerator. (assuming this model has a damper)
