To send and receive emails via your LG Prada phone you will first need to set up an email account
Send and Receive emails on your LG Prada phone by setting up an email account.
To set up a new account:
From the Start-up screen select the Main Menu icon
Select Message (Figure 1)
Scroll down and select Settings (Figure 2)
Select Email (Figure 3)
Select Accounts (Figure 4)
Select Menu icon
Select New Account (Figure 5)
You will now be required to enter some information relevant to your network provider (details of which you can find here) and existing email account:
Account Name ? For example ? Hotmail, Gmail etc (Figure 6)
Email Address ? e.g. [email protected]
Your Name ? e.g. Bob Jones
Incoming Mail Server ? Click here to find out this information (Figure 7)
User Name ? e.g. bobjones
Password ? This is will be the same as your Gmail/Hotmail password
Outgoing Mail Server ? Click here to find out this information (Figure 8)
You can also set up some Advanced Settings on your email account, to do this press the Menu icon and select Advanced Settings (Figure 9).
You can now edit the following settings if you need to do so, however, they will already be set to default settings:
Protocol Type (Figure 10)
Maximum Receive Size
Save To Server
Insert Signature (Figure 11)
Reply Email Address (Figure 12)
Incoming Port Number
Outgoing Port Number (Figure 13)

Once you have completed the above, press Save the in the Email Account section activate your new email account (Figure 15). You are now ready to send and receive emails.
You can also change your Network Profile and set up a Signature via the main Email menu simply select Network Profile then the new profile and activate. To set up a Signature choose Signature, then New and write your Signature and press OK
