RJ-45 Pins are with the spring tab down and read left to right. Do you have an RJ-45 Crimping tool?
Just use 568-B or 568-A on both ends of the same cable.

SOURCE: i have a wiring kit
The JVC wiring kit has more cables than the original radio plug. The original car radio has just basic functions, but the JVC has advanced functions . It would have been helpful if you had given the model # of the JVC stereo.
First things first . Connect all the matched colored pairs together eg:- White / Whiteblack , Grey / Greyblack ,Purple / Purpleblack and Green / Greenblack . These are speaker wires .
Next Yellow & Yellow , Black & Black. These are the battery + and Ground ( -). Next connect the Pink and Red wires. This is the accessory connection ( the stereo will play only if the key is inserted )
Rest of the wires you can ignore. For eg: the blue wire is for powered antenna, brown for alarm etc. All these functions your car does not seem to support. Now if the system still does not work , you could have damaged it due to a mix up in the connection. Please make a note of how you had connected the system before my suggestion so we can trace the fault. Good luck.Revert back for further assistance .
