We just aquired an EP 5000 and carefully moved it to its new location. Upon hooking it up, it gave us the c0b36 error code. It' related to the sorter because when I disconnect it and turn the machine back on, there is no code. We did umbilt the sorter to safely move the unit. Is there some kind of calibration that we need to make the error code go away? What should I do? Thanks for the help.
Sir/Mam Power off the machine. Then remove the toner bottle be careful the hole might be on the bottom toner is going to go everywhere. Then close the front cover and turn on the machine. Let the machine go through it normal routine. When it asks for toner install the toner correctly. If THE KUNB on the side of the bottle is damage put a new one in that KUNB is what the toner motor uses to turn the bottle if it damage you get a code. If that does not work you might have a bad motor or the home sensor or actuator for the toner bottle is bad worse case the control board is bad

Sorry, I wrote the error code wrong the second time. The title is correct. The error code is c0b63, not c0b36. Thaks for anyone's help.
I will check to make sure things line up. Is there a specific calibration I am lookig for? There is only one pin on the main unit that lines up with the sorter attachment. Does this one pin determine the proper alignment of the sorter? Thanks for your help.
It's solved. Your feedback led me in the right direction. I took the top off of the sorter and manually (gently) turned the corkscrew that moves the sorting bins. They were originally all at the top. By moving them down a bit itseemed to eliminate the errror code. Everything works fine now. Thanks for the information.
I have the same problem. Following the advice caused that error code to go away, but now I have code C0B65. Any tips?
