actually there is no set code for your model number. if you buy a sony remote is all you need. but if you bought a universal one than look in the manual and try all the codes for sony if that does not work then you have to program it manually. but go and buy a sony brand remote. all sony remotes work with all sony tv so you do not have to program it.

I'm not being a smart alec here just helping...buy a Sony universal remote. Maybe $8 or $10. You won't have to keep programming the code when the batteries die or get taken out. As soon as you install the batteries, the unit will operate any Sony tv. If you want to use the unversal remote you have you need to tell us the brand of the universal remote you are trying to use. When the led blinks twice it is telling you that the remote accepts the code, but that does not mean the tv accepts the code. If the tv does not power on after programming the new code then you must try the next code in the sequence, until you find one that powers on or off the tv.
