I have a Casio tone bank CT-670 keyboard that I haven't used in years. How do I turn it on and what power source/adapter do I use?
Thank you so much for your help
Take a close look at where the power source adapter plugs in, there should be something written which will indicate the voltage requirements, write them down, for example it might indicate +plus or minus 12 volts DC at 400 Milliamps. Take the info you write down to Radio Shack and they should be able to sell you a universal power adapter that will work. You should have a power on-off switch some where on the unit.
I have a 465 sound tone bank casio that was dropped and doesn't work anymore, but I can't find the problem. I'm not much of an electrician either, but no wires so far are broken. I've tried the plugin also and it didn't work. It wasn't the plugin because it was the one I was using when it worked.

Look where the power plugs in. There may be a voltage stamped on the keyboard. It may also have a sticker with info. on it telling what the power rating would be. Radio Shack carries a lot of universal adaptors. You don't tell what brand or model it is in your post. That might be more helpful. Hope this is helpful.
