Monitor Will not come on

If the monitor power light is on or flashing, but nothing displays, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor needs replaced.

To get monitor work for you, you should connect the VGA cable to CPU. When you remove the VGA cable, monitor has got nothing to display so it goes in stand by mode with orange LED on.

Sounds like the display is damaged. Connect a standard monitor to the VGA port. If the monitor works then you need to replace your display. You should be able to find a replacement display at eBay.

If the standard monitor does not work you have to replace the notebook motherboard which you can also find on eBay.
Remember to take digital pictures as you disassemble your notebook so you know how to put it back together.

Make sure you have the plug in tight or maybe your need a new monitor

There is a symbol of Two monitors on F3 Or F4 button

1. Press Fn key and hold it
2. by holding Fn key press F3 key

Your monitor will start displaying

your moniter is not broken your moniter's data cable is not correctly pluged.

Unplug monitor form AC outlet, wait for few minutes and plug again.
Check cable attache to PC.
Hope this trick will work.

I just had the same problem as well - mine happened during a windows update, related? Also, for me the monitor doesn't come one even after disconnecting from computer, nothing, just blinking green light.

i had same problem, fault was traced using a multimeter set to diode measurement, i found that one of the high power switch transistors in the inverter side of the power board was short circuit (there are four in the same area sticking up from the board, not surface mounted). normally they should measure 450 ish but when they read 0-010 its gone, pulled it out of circuit and remeasured it, gone, replaced and fixed.
