If you are getting trouble after the updates of internet explorer..

Then I would suggest you to Roll Back it to the original Internet Explorer (i.e Internet Explorer version 6.0)

Which come up with Installation of Win Xp with Service Pack 2.

Bad Effect due to IE 7.0 or higher version:

Screen hang up, internet freezes abruptly, prominent windows crashes anytime.

So to stop these problems, better to run with lower and safe version of IE:

To remove Internet Explorer 7 from your PC use the following methods

d. Follow the wizard instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 7. Also remove if any updates under this entry found.

Internet Explorer 7 shuts down with message mshtml. dll 7.0.6000.16827 I am running xp home

Try this link (if you can get IE to stay on long enough).

http://www.technipages.com/internet-explorer-crashes-with-error-in-mshtmldll.html

If you can't, I recommend that you download (or get a copy) of FireFox, install it and then go to the site for the IE patch.

Please read the information carefully as it is specific to only a certain level of Windows XP.

Hope this helps!

Clicking outlook express hyperlinks gives not responding message

First download and reinstall Internet Explorer, that has Outlook Express built in. See Internet Explorer: Get It Now.

If that does not work, do system restore to a date before you started having the problem. See System Restore on Windows XP.
