Our tv has for the last 2 days been freezing up the images (I feel that it's on certain channels, but sometimes it's random). We get a screen with distorted lines of various colours, the tv then shuts down and restarts itself (minus the normal turning off and on sounds it normally makes), sometimes solving the problem and sometimes looping through this issue unless we change the channel.
We contacted Samsung and they said that it might be a tuner issue, and that it would be cheaper to toss it out than sending it in to get the problem checked out and fixed, since it's just out of warranty. Please help us!
I agree with Samsung. Tuner issues can be problematic. Since it's only a 19 incher, I'd just buy a new one!

My shop had this problem yesterday. We had to change the DMD to correct it. One of the data lines was being drawn down intermitently. This doesn't eliminate the digital PCB, but, we have seen the DMD do this more than a digital. You should have an authorized shop do the repair. Okay,only one thing you could check,and that would be your electrical outlet.Using another outlet from a different room(power extension cord) to plug your TV and see if it does the same thing.
If it does,don't bother,you need a repair serviceman to take care of it or if it is under warranty,call your retailer!

This should be repairable. It may be the LVDS Cable or the Main board problem. The only other problem is the T-Con Board.
