If you dont have an MP3 or Ipod input, then the best way is to buy an FM transmitter. This device plugs into your cigarette lighter and when connected to the Ipod will transmit the signal to the stereo unit. this device is actually like a micro radio station that you have to tune in on the Kenwood. These units are available at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or online at Ebay, and Amazon.

My stereo kicks off as soon asyou turn it on tuner,CD,or AUX.if you reset it it comes right on.it also stays on if you leave it on stanby.

Sounds like you have your constant power, and remote power wires mixed up. While your at it check all the connections and splices. Something is loose, maybe a ground as well.

Forgot Kenwood head unit Code

you can always try the most common number sequences,(1234,1111 etc...) otherwise it has to go to an Authorized service center. You find one at www.kenwoodusa.com under support.
