Unfortunately the stand for this TV is not longer available for purchase. What I would suggest would be searching for "Vesa stands" there are several stands that function like a vesa wallmount, but are a stand instead.

If the Aquos 46 is anything like the Aquos 42, the monitor is attached to the base with machine screws (bolts). They are located in the lower back portion of the monitor, probably need an Allen wrench to loosen and remove. Once that is done, the base can be removed from the monitor. Best way is to lay the monitor face down on a tabletop padded with foam, a quilt or blanket, etc to protect the screen as you work. Remove the stand from the monitor, not the monitor from the stand; it is easier and safer that way.
