I just bought second hand a Whirlpool AWM8121 front loader washing machine without a user manual. I would like to know specifically what to place in the 3 sections in the detergent tray? (Washing Liquid, Fabric Softener, Powder etc...) From left to right of the tray.
SOURCE: Front Load Washing Machine
Filling laundry detergent and/or additive
dispensers
Dispenser I: (RIGHT SIDE)
Detergent for soaking agent.
Dispenser II: (LEFT SIDE)
Detergent for wash, stain remover.
Dispenser 2: (MIDDLE)
Cleaning product, e.g. fabric softener, fabric
conditioner (do not fill above the lower edge of the
insert 1).
SOURCE: Can you use Oxyclean along with detergent in front loaders?
I use 2 Tablespoons of Liquid Detergent and a 1/2 to 3/4 scoop of Oxyclean and I have had good results in my Front Loader. Clothes come out very clean and there is no residue on the inside of my washer.

Make sure it is the fabric softener that is not being added. Try running w/o fabric softener and see if the tray is still full. The reason I am asking is that after I run my washer the fabric softener tray is full, with water, not softener. The factory tells me it is because the water fill nozzles have realigned and overspray into the softener tray. Not a big problem, since my system is under warranty I am having them fix the nozzles and then I will know how to redirect.
If it is the softener that is not being added then check to make sure the line is not clogged. You can lift out the bleach / softener try and check for cloggs.

Hi. Assuming the washer has completed the rinse sequence, there is a possibility the dispenser part of the valve could be faulty. I assume that you have put the conditioner in the right compartment of the dispenser.. If all else seems to be o/k, I recmmomend thay you once again thouroughly strip and clean the dispenser..
The other possibility is that the hole where the water comes in at the top of the dispenser is blocked.
You need a stiff piece of wire with a hook on the end and poke each hole that you can see in the top of the dispenser compartment
This should solve the problem
Please leave feeed back.
Thanks
