After a few minutes of watching the picture will start to flicker, bounce, and scramble while the audio of the show we are watching turns entirely into a LOUD buzzing noise. This problem only occurs on higher channels, but it does not occur on other TVs in our house so I know it is not a cable issue. For a while we found that if we changed the channel to a lower channel and then back again to the higher channel the problem stopped. Now that solution is no longer reliable. We have to turn it all the way down to channel 2 for a few minutes and then back to the higher channel, repeating this process several times, but it doesn't always work. Help!!
The variation from higher channels from lower channels, few things changes eg frequency, voltage, and current.
take your tv to a w/shop and have the following
tunner voltage pulse variation on a avo meter has you change channels. if the difference of voltage is not unform when you are changing from to channel then you should change the control ic on the rf stage or check the capacitors a round the rf ic for variations in value.
