I have a Kyocera Printer FS 4000DN and the pages are writing over each other

Say i am printing two pages both pages are printing on the same sheet of paper not ghost images.

Is one of the images a ghost image, slightly offset from the original?

Hi Bobbie,
If you are still having a problem with you FS 4000 printer I would suggest a firmware upgrade.
They change from one country to another so you will have to access the firmware locally.
This usually fixes silly problems such as this.

Error should be something like CALL SERVICE XXXX:XXXXXXX.
First four numbers are error code, and numbers after : is a page count of device.
Write down first four numbers and maybe i can help you.

Hi error code: Call service 6020:0053103 Can't

according to my reading, a flashing power lights indicates a problem you can solve on your own. while a error like you typed would mean something that you cannot resolve without help. a problem like a bad controller, or a bad chip. maybe a eeprom issue.

If Call service appears, turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord, and contact your service technician
Some errors cause the alarm to sound. To stop the alarm, press [Cancel].

#### represents a mechanical error (#=0, 1, 2, ...). Call for service. The printer does not operate when this message is displayed. The total number of pages printed is also indicated, e.g. 0123456.

This woiuld mean you printed 53103 pages with that printer before the error occurred.

Constantly have to press the green ok button to print, and I printed 13 pages but pages 5,6 were missing. Skips pages randomly.

Check you have not set the paper source to "Letter" in Printing Preferences if so chnge it to "A4"

Right Click to get this option when you are in "Printers and Faxes"

Also check "Page Setup" in the program from which you are trying to print as these options override those set in "Printing Preferences"
