The little drain hose on my air conditioner broke off and now it just leaks onto the floor. We used to put a pie tin under the hose and empty the tin periodically, but now the little hose is gone and we cannot figure out where it leaks from to put a pan down and catch the water.
There are some pumps that can solve this problem easily usually costs about 120$.... but you need a person that knows how to work with it usually a proffesional. for any other questions add me on facebook and ask free

SOURCE: Water leaking from portable air conditioner
First, make sure the unit is level. If so, you have a blockage or kink in the drain tube. Careful inspection should reveal any blockage, & you may be able to poke it thru with a piece of coathanger wire. Don't use excessive force, any block should be easily freed.
SOURCE: Water spillage in Dimplex portable air conditioner
Hi Leanne,Bung stays in and you dont take it out until the red light (4th on right on top of unit) comes on, then you empty it taking bung out and use tube to get the water out. It will probably take some time (days of continuous operation) for the light to come on, depending on your humidity etc. For easy emptying, wheel the unit to a bathroom or outside where if it spills a bit it won't matter.
Ours is working okay although it just stopped blowing cold air and is only blowing room temp air. we have guests tonight and its hot! I came here looking for a solution to my prob and found yours!

SOURCE: punctured an air-conditioner Freon line
when the freon is released from the unit, you have to repair the leak, pull a vacumm to rid any moisture in system then refill with freon,if you dont have the equipment,it would be cheaper to just replace the unit
SOURCE: I have a Maytag window air conditioner that is leaking out front
The unit has to lean backward to let the water run out. It sounds like it is too level or leaning forward too much. There should be an adjusting screw in back that you can lower and it should work fine.
SOURCE: top tray not draining
I called the service tech, before Maytag stopped supporting this unit. (built by Fedders with Maytag name). Fedders has gone out of business (7-09). The tech guy said that the tray gets clogged up with crud and the solution is to try to flush the tray out with water and compressed air. I had the problem of water leaking from the trays but not properly draining through the drain hose. This solution did the trick.
