I have a 37" visio TV (just got it home). How do I program with AT&T uverse remote?
tvman34, RTFM is typically not useful, as most post online because theanswers weren't found in the manual. Visio is not on the list ofsupported TV's given the U-verse manual. Does anyone know the U-verseremote controller code for Visio-branded support or a compatible codedesignated for other brands?

Use the RECOVER button to get back to watching satelliteprogramming if you accidentally change channels or inputs on your TV. Press POUND. Press & hold the TV Mode button until all Mode buttons light up. To take the remote out of Limited Mode, use the PAGE DOWN button instead of the PAGE UP button in step 2.
Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the site linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Pull up older posts. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/
Access the help section of the menu on your uverse connected TV. Select the option "Remote Control Setup". Select your style of remote and select the type of device that you want to program your remote to and then just simply follow the instructions provided on-screen.
i currently use uverse and none of there remotes work for dynex tv's i suggest buying the logitec harmony 520 or 420 or above remote from amazon read the reviews there around 40 dollars and lets you control everything and they connect to you pc you just plug in you model number and the remote learns all the commands as well as lets you set up activities that will allow you to control multiple devices without having to switch between hitting the tv button, home theater button, uverse box etc. hope this helps.
I have a 37 inch Hiteker that I just purchased. I could not find code for my Uverse TV remote but saw on another forum that the Curtis Mathes codes would work. I went through the list and found one that worked for the Uverse remote - I think it was 1311 or 1331. Just go through the CM codes listed for your remote and one of them will work.
Do all your programming with the original remote & then set the ATT umiversal remote to turn the set on/off & it should do most of the features of the original. Some stuff can only be done with the oem remote. Read the book & good luck!! tvman
I've had my series 2 Tivo for about 2 1/2 years and never found the correct codes for it. I think it works off of a list of TVs manufactures about 3 years ago.
Most Polaroid flat-screen TVs won't program to the Uverse remotes. Try buying a different universal remote that shows coding for both Uverse and Polaroid.
U-verse remote control code 1004 provided the support I needed for my Visio VO37LHDTV10A 37 in. LCD TV
