My brother bought a used LG Flatron monitor and while cleaning it (the previous owner was a smoker), he thinks he pushed a button because he got a box with "osd locked" and "osd unlocked" that flashes continuously on the screen. He does not have internet service so I am trying to find out how to get rid of the flashing box. It flashes even when he is playing games or using other programs.
Can you help?
Thanks, Nona

Press and hold the MENU button for about 5 seconds. This should unlock the controls. On some monitors it will be the power button that you need to press for 5 seconds to unlock.
If none of this works, it may be a malfunction needing servicing.
