click start and programs and features and look for those on the list and then click on remove or uninstall.

What did you clean? If it was the Image Transfer Belt (the big mylar belt in the front), do it again. Print and see if the yellow is smearing again. If it is replace the yellow cartridge.

Try pressing the "cbl" button on your cable box remote. That made it disappear on a TWC Scientific Atlanta unit.

If you have the original remote, press display and hopefully the AV6 display will go away.

well i think this is caused by a magnetic field created by your speaker. is the speaker the same location for that color burn (lower left corner)? the only way to get rid of that is to remove your speaker or changed it. for all i know speakers used in tv's are magnetically shielded to prevent distortion in the CRT, because their location is usually near the crt. good luck!
