How do I program this RCA nightclub universal remote for my Samsung smart TV

First understand that you need a little patience with this remote, it's a little slow, it may take a few seconds in between pushing buttons for it to react to your TV.

1)
-Turn on TV manually first.

we're going to try and get the remote paired to your particular tv

2)
-Facing RCA universal remote towards TV, press and hold both the POWER and TV buttons on the remote at the same time.. until the RCA universal remote POWER button lights up and is constantly on.

-Then press the PLAY button on RCA universal remote

(POWER button on remote should be blinking after pressing PLAY -- what the remote is doing is trying to program your TV with a list of codes. if your TV does not automatically shut off after a minute, press the PLAY button again. your TV should shut off. wait a few seconds before trying to press PLAY button again if you need to try again.)

3)
Assuming remote turned off TV. Now let's try to get the remote to turn on your TV

On the remote at top right is a REVERSE button, press that. You should see the POWER button on the remote blink once in response to you doing that.

Watch for the power on light on your TV.. your TV may take a few seconds to power on..

Wait a couple seconds. if your TV has not turned back on, press the REVERSE button again. the POWER button should blink once again in response

If your TV did not turn on. You may have to repeat pushing the REVERSE button waiting a couple seconds for the remote to try turning on your TV. For some people this can take several times, if not a dozen times. Just be sure to be patient and wait a couple seconds in between pressing the REVERSE button again. (what the RCA universal remote is doing is going through a list of codes trying to find the right model to pair to)

4)
Assuming the remote finally turned on your TV.. We are almost done. We programmed the remote to turn off the TV and turn on the TV. now we want to press the STOP button on the RCA universal remote to lock in those codes into the remote. After pressing the STOP button the light on the remote POWER button should turn off.

5)
We are done. You should be able to change the channels and raise and lower the volume of your TV.

I am programming an RCA Universal Remote (Model #RCR311W) and looking for the four digit Brand Code for a Dynex 22" HDTV (Model #Model: DX-22L150A11).

Hello

RCA universal remote codes for Dynex Tv are:
11463, 11810, 12184

To use this universal remote with your home entertainment

system, first you need to program it to control your devices.

There are four ways you can program the universal remote to

operate your devices:

• The Auto Code Search goes automatically through all the

codes for the device you're trying to control. It's the easiest

method, but it can sometimes take longer than some of the

other programming methods.

• The Brand Code Search searches through the codes for

select brands of devices. It's not as easy as the auto code

search, but it can be faster.

• The Direct Code Entry lets you enter a code from the

accompanying code list for your brand of device. It's not as

easy as the other methods, but it's potentially the fastest

method.

• The Manual Code Search lets you manually go through
all the codes for the device you're trying to control

Auto Code Search

The Auto Code Search goes automatically through all the

codes for the device you're trying to control. When you find

the one that operates your device, you can stop the search and
store that code.

1. Manually turn on the device you

want to control.

2. Press and hold the device key you want to program. While

you're holding down the device key, use your other hand

to press and hold the remote's ON•OFF key at the same

time.

3. Wait until the ON•OFF key comes on and stays on. Then

release both keys.

4. Point the remote directly at the

front panel of the device you

want to control. Press PLAY on

the remote and wait 5 seconds.

The remote is testing a batch of

10 codes on your device.

Did your device turn off?

YES: Go to step 5.

NO: Press PLAY again. The remote tests the next batch of

10 codes.

Keep pressing PLAY every 5 seconds until your device
turns off.

5. When your device turns off, press

the REVERSE key on the remote

and wait at least 2 seconds.

The remote tries the last of the

previous ten codes.

Did your device turn on?

YES: Press the STOP key. You're

done! You've programmed this

device key.

NO: Press REVERSE again. The remote tests the next

code in the batch.

Keep pressing REVERSE every 2 seconds until your device

turns back on. When it does, press STOP.

Note: If you accidentally press the REVERSE key after your

device turns on, press the FORWARD key. Then, wait two
seconds to see if your device turns off again.

Need codes for rcr312w remote for my apex tv.

While looking for the codes for your remote I found that you can program your remote without actually knowing the code. It also says one of the problems with the instructions is that they don't tell you about the reverse button having to be repeatedly pressed every two seconds. The codes for Apex Digital TV's are: 10156,10748, 10879 and 10765. Hope this solves your problem.

Need instructions on how to program a RCA model RCR 3273N universal remote

Hi! There are two ways on how to program your RCA Universal Remote Control. First is the direct code entry. In following these steps you need to provide me the type and brand of the device you want to be programmed to your remote control so I can give you the code for that certain device. Since you did not indicate the information I need for the code I will advise you to do the second way which is the Auto Code Search. Here are the steps for you to be able to program your Universal Remote without the code list.

1. Manually turn on the device you want to control.
2. Press and hold the device key you want to program. While you’re holding down the device key, use your other hand to press and hold the remote’s POWER key at the same time.
3. Wait until the remote’s indicator comes on and stays on. Then release both keys.
4. Point the remote directly at the front panel of the device you want to control. Press PLAY on the remote and wait 5 seconds. The remote is testing a batch of 10 codes on your device.
Did your device turn off?
YES: Go to step 5.
NO: Press PLAY again. The remote tests the next batch of 10 codes.
Keep pressing PLAY every 5 seconds until your device turns off.
5. When your device turns off, press the REVERSE key on the remote
and wait at least 2 seconds. The remote tries the last of the previous ten codes.
Did your device turn on?
YES: Press the STOP key. You’re done! You’ve programmed this device key.
NO: Press REVERSE again. The remote tests the next code in the batch. Keep pressing REVERSE every 2 seconds until your device turns back on. When it does, press STOP.
Note: If you accidentally press the REVERSE key after your device turns on, press the FORWARD key. Then, wait two seconds to see if your device turns off again.

Remote RCR312W for panosonic TV quit working what do I do

I found this at:

http://www.wikihow.com/Program-an-RCA-RCR312W-Remote

It is stated that it was obtained from the RCA Website - but I could not find anything other than a picture of the remote there.

1) Turn on the component (the tv, dvd, etc).

2) Hold the TV (or DVD) button and the on/off button at the same time. It will stay lit.

3) Press the play button every five seconds until the component turns off. Each time the Play button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks ten times and a block of 10 codes is sent to your component. This process continues until all the codes in the Code Lists have been searched. If the component has not turned off after all codes have been searched, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks four times, turns off, and the Auto Code Search Entry method is exited.

4) When the component turns off, press and release the REVERSE button, then wait two seconds to see if the component turns on again.

5) If the component does not respond, continue to press the REVERSE button EVERY TWO SECONDS UNTIL THE COMPONENT TURNS ON again. This will isolate the correct code in the last block of codes sent. Each time the REVERSE button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks. If the REVERSE button is accidentally pressed after the component responds, press and release the FORWARD button. Wait two seconds to see if the component turns off again.

6) To save the new code, press and release the STOP button.

7) The illuminated ON-OFF button turns off. You must press the STOP button to save the code.

Progrm my universal remote

When doing the code search for this remote, and you get to the point where the tv shuts off, you press the reverse button BUT the directions should say KEEP on pressing the REVERSE button EVERY 2 SECONDS until the tv turns back on.  THEN PRESS STOP.  The directions I kept on getting were sayng to press it but they did not specify how many times.  YOU NEED TO KEEP PRESSING REVERSE UNTIL IT TURNS ON, THEN PRESS STOP.
I got these directions (after about an hour of searching sites I found) from www.rca.com
  1. f, after five seconds, the component does not respond, continue to press the PLAY button every five seconds until the component turns off.
  3. When the component turns off, press and release the REVERSE button, then wait two seconds to see if the component turns on again.
  4. If the component does not respond, continue to press the REVERSE button every two seconds until the component turns on again. This will isolate the correct code in the last block of codes sent. Each time the REVERSE button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks.
  5. If the REVERSE button is accidentally pressed after the component responds, press and release the FORWARD button. Wait two seconds to see if the component turns off again.
  6. To save the new code, press and release the STOP button.
  7. The illuminated ON-OFF button turns off. You must press the STOP button to save the code.

THIS HELPED ME I HOPE IT HELPS OTHERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM.
