-Just disconnect the wire that hook up to the switch. (Only on the effect door) -Or remove the switch and if you can put a spacer to bring the swtich to the outside little more. That will solve the problem.
Maybe it's the safety device that prevents the door closing if there is an obstruction. Many of these have a reflector mounted near the floor on one side and an infrared light on the other side. If either end it obstructed, the door won't close.
not real clear on what you mean. if your door is not closing try lifting up on it as you try. also lift the door handle and see if the latch mechanism is open.
if you mean that the doors are closed but the light won't go out then you need to replace the door jamb light switch, open each door one at a time and push the little button in the door jamb if the light goes out then you may just need to adjust the switch, close each door before checking the next, if you need to adjust it then here is a generic picture of an adjustable switch
if the light doesn't go out then you may need a new switch.
its the door switches they are sticking and telling the car door is open. open and close both doors a few times and make sure they are closed good and try again to make sure it is setting properly you will know cause the care dome light will go and it will emit a short honk when activated!! =) mine just did the same thing
There is a switch in the door jamb that turns on the light and also allows the dryer to start. If you close the door and the light does not go off like it did before, then that switch is probably bad.
Posibly a short in the wiring from a door switch. Try each one with the rest of the doors closed until you find it. You should be able to remove the switches from the door pillars.
check the door interlock sensor. Somewhere there is a tab or button that lets the washer know when the door is closed. If this switch isn't being triggered it could be that the machine thinks the door is open and won't function.
the door switch is broke.when you push on the paddle of the door switch the lite should go out,if you don't see the paddle it most likely broke off,you need to send the full model number next time,it will start with 110.or similar.the door switch is a safety so the machine won't run until the door is closed,if the switch is broke no power will go to start the dryer
