Changed the battery #2412 on my Seiko perpetual calendar watch. The date just kept flipping, then stuck between dates. Tried turning 24 hours to get date to flip, no luck. How can I get the date to move?
First of all the window above says Problem w/Bulova Watch - the question concerns a Seiko PC. I will address the Seiko PC - read the instructions supplied by mfgr you can find them on the Seiko website - they are also on the inside of the caseback. My suggestion, however, is that you take it to an authorized Seiko dealer and if you have not done something to preclude a normal programming, they can re-program for a fee. On these watches, it is even tricky how the old batt is removed. Always better to take to a professional.
