Jvc everio G power cord is broke

I had cut my jvc charging cor on accident. I tried splicing it back together with no luck, can it be charged through the computer(usb)? if so how? and if not is there another way to charge it rather then buying a new cord.

As a camcorder technician, I would not recomend to be too creative on charging the battery. The battery plays very important role in today's camcorder design. You need to use correct charging procedure or similiar 3rd party method. I would get one cheap at EBAY. I see over 200 listing under accessories for this camcorder. Good luck.

I have a pnlc1001ya can I get a replacement charging unit as the rabbit has chewed the cord

You want the AC adapter, not the charging unit. If there is sufficient undamaged cord, you can splice both the wires together and use the AC adapter.

Carefully identify the wires - one will have a raised rib or line printed on it. Strip 1/2 inch of insulation off each end of all wires. Matching the wire pairs, twist the stripped wires together. Fold the stripped wire back in line, and wrap the spliced wire connection with electrical tape. Do this for the other wire. Inspect you work to ensure the spliced wires are completely covered and do not touch each other. Wrap the entire spliced section in electrical tape and hook it up to the charging base.

Ebay has a selection of replacement ac chargers. Look on the back of the charging unit for the model number, and observe the voltage and current ratings.

I'm trying to find a charging cable for my JVC camcorder model # GZ-E300WU.

Check the specs in the manual to determine the voltage/polarity (may also be next to the plug input on the camera) is the same and you may be able to use a generic adapter like those you'll find on Amazon for JVC GZ camcorders like this:

I have a Phillips 46WB2K3RA tv and the power cord got cut accidentally while moving it. I spliced it and put it back together and now can't get the tv to come on, any suggestions as this is the only...

On the cors itself one side has either a white line or is ribbed. Just match up the correct lines and splice it back together. If you have them reversed, polarity is backwards and TV won't operate. If that doesn't solve your problem it's more than likely the fuse inside the TV where the cord enters the back.

I have a JVC Everio GZ-HM200BU. When I open the aperture it no longer starts up. If I connect the power cord...it works. Suggestions?

Possible that the battery is bad as it does not have the voltage and current to switch on. So use a multimeter to check the charge on the battery. if the charge is low then you must replace, other wise it can also be related to a fault on the charging control circuit as it fails to connect the battery .

I HAVE THE JVC EVERIO HDD HYBRID HARD DISK CAMCORDER. HOWEVER, I'VE LOST THE POWER CORD, SO I'M UNABLE TO CHARGE MY BATTERY. WHERE CAN I PURCHASE ANOTHEWR CORD AT?

Try a camera store to see if they can help you, second option is go to www.jvc.com for customer support and ask for technical assistance they should be able to supply you with the cord or tell you the closest store available.

JVC Camcorder - used wrong power lead to charge battery

They sell external battery chargers for these for around 10 bucks at Amazon. Just pop the battery in the charger. Beware the battery itself can be worn down or dead. It also has protection circuits right inside the battery that can be blown (maybe a small fuse too). A new high capacity battery (3 times the recording time) is also at Amazon for around $25.

Charger on cam does not work

If your extended battery came with small cord the cord needs to be plugged into the battery and the camera DC outlet).  My Everio was doing the same thing and I did the above and it works.
